2024 Fantasy Outlook
The Orioles' pipeline of excellent position player prospects seemingly has no end, and while he appears buried on the organizational depth chart, Beavers is a good enough prospect to still carry top-100 dynasty value. A plus runner who makes excellent swing decisions and can play all three outfield spots, Beavers is working on maximizing his above-average raw power in games. He slashed .336/.432/.536 with eight home runs, 14 steals and an 18.9 K% in his final 71 games, split evenly across High-A and Double-A, although his .157 ISO at Double-A was an underwhelming mark for an age-appropriate hitter at that level. Beavers could soon look like a top-50 prospect on paper whose actual dynasty value will be debatable based on how much he gets downgraded due to the crowded depth chart. However, as a lefty hitter, he should be productive in Oriole Park at Camden Yards, if he is able to stick in this organization. Read Past Outlooks
Promoted to Triple-A
Beavers was promoted to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
ANALYSIS
Beavers will make the leap to Triple-A after batting .241 with 15 home runs, 50 RBI, 67 runs scored and 31 stolen bases over 119 games with Double-A Bowie this season. The outfielder will look to impress with Norfolk in order to potentially get a shot with the major-league roster in 2025.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Beavers, the Orioles' competitive-balance pick at No. 33 overall in last year's draft, is a potential power/speed outfielder from California who didn't turn 21 until August. The 6-foot-4 right fielder struggled in both opportunities with a wood bat (Cape Cod League and USA Baseball), but he rebounded with a .291/.427/.634 slash line, 17 home runs, seven steals, a 19.9 K% and an 18.8 BB% in 56 games as a junior. He had a brief 23-game run across complex ball, Single-A and High-A and demonstrated a very keen eye (18:16 K:BB). Given his size and bat path, Beavers should be able to hit for at least above-average power. Additionally, he is at least an above-average runner and was 17-for-23 on the base paths in 123 college games before going 6-for-7 on stolen-base attempts at Single-A. For fantasy purposes, there is a lot to like here. However, the Orioles' depth chart is getting crowded, given how well they've done recently in the draft, so the competition for playing time will be heated when Beavers is ready, likely in 2024.
