2026 Fantasy Outlook
If you are a parent, grandparents, or guardian, you have likely sung head, shoulders, knees, and toes to children. Get that song in your head and replace the lyrics with knee, oblique, ankle, and calf for Fraley because name a body part and he has injured it in recent seasons. Fraley was designed for assignment by the Reds after a knee injury and was one of the many players Atlanta picked up off waivers. Fraley had some timely hits in his brief time before an oblique injury ended his season and he was eventually designated for assignment and was eventually claimed off waivers by Tampa Bay. On paper, Fraley plays the corner outfield positions, yet both corner outfield positions at press time are also manned by lefty hitters in Simpson and Lowe. Neither of those options has shown the ability to handle centerfield, so Fraley's fantasy viability in AL-Only leagues is currently clouded. Should Lowe or Simpson be dealt or moved to center, Fraley becomes a strong-side platoon option at a corner outfield position for a team whose collective 2025 outfield hit all of 29 home runs.
