Chase Dollander

23-Year-Old PitcherSP
Colorado Rockies AAA
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Dollander is one of the best pitchers in the minors, but his dynasty value doesn't match his real-life value, given that he'll be pitching half his games in Coors Field. He had a 2.59 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 169 strikeouts in 118 innings across 23 starts between High-A and Double-A and showed no signs of slowing down. There is no recent prospect with this big of a gap between where they're ranked on real-life lists and dynasty lists. If you've been playing fantasy baseball for a while, you know how rare it is for a Rockies starter to be good enough to roster and start in fantasy for the majority a season. Ubaldo Jimenez from 2009-10 and German Marquez in 2018 are the two most obvious examples from the past 20 years, and in other years where a Rockies starter finished with decent surface stats, they probably weren't started much more than 50 percent of the time in fantasy. On the flip side, one could argue Dollander, the No. 9 overall pick in 2023, is the best pitcher to come through this system in two decades, so if someone were to join Jimenez and Marquez and post a truly valuable fantasy season, he's a great candidate. Look for him to make more starts in the majors than the minors in 2025. Read Past Outlooks
