Gorman was the player most impacted by the Cardinals' inability to trade Nolan Arenado last offseason. Instead of taking over as the team's everyday third baseman, Gorman saw inconsistent playing time again while bouncing between second base, third base and designated hitter. Of course, the 25-year-old didn't do himself any favors with a second straight disappointing season at the plate. Gorman did get his walk rate back up to 11.7 percent, but his strikeout rate remained bloated at 33.8 percent, and he saw his barrel rate drop from 16.7 percent to 9.1 percent.
