2026 Fantasy Outlook
Perhaps it was more wishcasting than prudent analysis for those taking a chance on Dollander, but he was unable to tame Coors Field. Maybe that changes someday, but for now the park a mile above sea level remains undefeated. One of the league's top pitching prospects entering the season, Dollander opened at Triple-A Albuquerque before making his major league debut. He logged 21 starts and 98 innings, struggling with an 18.6 percent strikeout rate, an elevated 11.1 percent walk rate and a 1.65 HR/9. As expected, he performed much better on the road, posting a 3.46 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, while Coors proved disastrous with a 9.98 ERA and 1.98 WHIP. Dollander dealt with a blister issue and forearm tightness, but those ailments did not affect his road results and cannot fully explain the home struggles. His away performance highlights the upside, but sustained success at Coors Field remains a hurdle no pitcher has consistently cleared. Read Past Outlooks
