Povich logged 112.1 innings and struck out 118 batters for the Orioles last season, but he never was able to settle into a consistent groove. The left-hander made 20 starts and two bulk relief appearances but covered six innings on just four occasions, and he never had a month where his ERA was lower than 4.61. Povich is a 25-year-old lefty who has put up a 30.4 percent strikeout rate in the minors, and that in and of itself makes him intriguing. However, while he throws a wide array of pitches, none of them really stand out in their current form. Some tweaks here are required before Povich can become a reliable fantasy asset.
