2026 Fantasy Outlook
McGreevy made a handful of spot starts for the Cardinals in the first half of the 2025 season before finally being given a regular role in the rotation after the All-Star break. The results were mostly underwhelming. McGreevy ranked in the 93rd percentile with a 5.0 percent walk rate and the 76th percentile with a 48 percent groundball rate, but he managed a woeful 14.5 percent strikeout rate and a below-average 4.42 ERA over 95.2 innings. The 25-year-old is probably never going to be much of a bat misser, but he fanned right around a batter per inning at Triple-A Memphis over the last two seasons, so there's some hope he won't be a total zero in that area like he was in 2025. McGreevy is well suited for a Cardinals team that plays in a pitcher-friendly park and has a good defense behind him, but the profile as currently constructed isn't going to produce much fantasy value.
