Sean Bouchard

Heading into last season, Bouchard recorded an impressive .304/.429/.563 line, albeit spanning just 140 plate appearances over the previous two seasons. However, in 108 trips to the dish last year, Bouchard mustered a paltry .187/.290/.297. His struggles began in the spring, costing him an Opening Day roster spot, likely as the regular right fielder. He spent most of the first shuttling between the Rockies and Triple-A Alburquerque before dealing some injuries and then finishing the year with the Isotopes, for whom he hit .324/.418/.642. The Colorado outfield is crowded, but only Brenton Doyle is assured of playing every day. A strong spring could land Bouchard on the less busy side of a platoon, and that plays in NL-only.
