Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Heading into last season, Bouchard recorded an impressive .304/.429/.563 line, albeit spanning just 140 plate appearances over the previous two seasons. However, in 108 trips to the dish last year, Bouchard mustered a paltry .187/.290/.297. His struggles began in the spring, costing him an Opening Day roster spot, likely as the regular right fielder. He spent most of the first shuttling between the Rockies and Triple-A Alburquerque before dealing some injuries and then finishing the year with the Isotopes, for whom he hit .324/.418/.642. The Colorado outfield is crowded, but only Brenton Doyle is assured of playing every day. A strong spring could land Bouchard on the less busy side of a platoon, and that plays in NL-only. Impressive start to spring
Bouchard went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and a double in Monday's Cactus League game against the Angels.
ANALYSIS
Bouchard had a down 2024 season but entered spring training healthy after undergoing surgery on his hamate bone in early November. Jordan Beck is the favorite to start in right field for the Rockies, but Bouchard has collected eight hits across 18 at-bats while striking out four times early on in the exhibition season.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
Bouchard enters Cactus League play as the favorite to start in right field for the Rockies to begin 2024. He hit 20 homers and stole 12 bases in just 69 games at Triple-A in 2022, which earned him his first big-league call-up. Last season was mostly wiped out by a ruptured left biceps, though he returned to the major-league club in September. Bouchard has fared well in his limited MLB action to date (.304/.429/.563), but it will be difficult to sustain success if he continues to strike out in roughly one-third of his plate appearances, as he did with the Rockies last season. Coors Field can cover a lot of flaws, and the 27-year-old Bouchard will at least be in the mix as a home streamer if he secures at-bats in spring training.
