Geoff Hartlieb News: DFA'd by Yankees

The Yankees designated Hartlieb for assignment Wednesday.

Hartlieb was with the big club for a couple days, permitting three runs in his lone inning of relief. He has the ability to elect free agency, should he pass through waivers unclaimed.
