Weekly Pitcher Rankings: One Down, Five to Go

Weekly Pitcher Rankings: One Down, Five to Go

This article is part of our Weekly Pitcher Rankings series.

Can you believe it's almost May? Geez, in just two weeks, I'll be whining about everyone incorrectly saying: "We're at the quarter pole."

Scoring is still down, as are hits. There was a piece in Baseball Prospectus last week discussing how fewer outfield hits is the main culprit. Those reading this column every week already knew that.

As always, the schedule is culled from the Probable Pitchers page. Please direct rotation question over there. I'm happy to handle rankings questions below.

The rain has wreaked havoc on the pitching schedules. There will no doubt be some changes reported this weekend. Please pop back late Sunday night/early Monday morning for the final version.

Week of April 28 - May 4
