2025 Fantasy Outlook
Cunningham averaged double-digit points while serving mainly as a starter in the 2022 and 2023 campaigns, but she only had a part-time starting role in 2024 and showed some decline in the scoring column, averaging 8.4 points per game. However, she had some encouraging performances in secondary categories, as she averaged 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game, which were both the second-best marks of her career. The 28-year-old was traded to the Fever during the offseason, where she'll likely have to settle for a bench role on the team's revamped roster. Cunningham has shown enough production over the past few seasons to justify a mid-to-late-round flier in most fantasy drafts, but she could profile more as a streaming candidate due to the talent around her in Indiana. To undergo MRI on Monday
Cunningham is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday after sustaining a right knee injury in the second quarter of Sunday's 99-93 overtime win over the Sun, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Cunningham was helped to the locker room following a collision with an opposing player and finished with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and one rebound across 10 minutes. The Fever will likely provide an update on the seventh-year forward's status following the MRI, and her next chance to suit up will come Friday against the Lynx. If Cunningham joins Caitlin Clark (groin), Aari McDonald (foot) and Sydney Colson (knee) on the shelf, Lexie Hull, Odyssey Sims, Makayla Timpson and Brianna Turner are all candidates for a bump in minutes.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
2022
Cunningham served mainly as a starter for the Mercury in 2022, and 2023 marked the first season in which she operated exclusively in a starting role. Her scoring and rebounding marks declined slightly from the 2022 campaign, but she was still a serviceable fantasy contributor with 11.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.0 minutes per game. Part of her decline can be attributed to her decreased three-point efficiency, as she shot just 33.7 percent from long range in 2023 after converting 40.4 percent of her three-point attempts over the previous two seasons. It wouldn't be surprising to see her improve in that area in 2024, but Brittney Griner intends to re-sign, and the Mercury also added Kahleah Copper, Natasha Cloud and Rebecca Allen this offseason. Cunningham is a fairly reliable fantasy option due to her scoring and abundance of three-point attempts, but it wouldn't be surprising to see her role remain somewhat stagnant in 2024 as the new-look Mercury attempt to reclaim contender status.
