Moriah Jefferson

Jefferson was cut by the Wings early in the 2022 campaign, but she quickly landed with the Lynx and had one of the best years of her career while starting in all 30 of her appearances with the team. She signed a multi-year deal with the Mercury ahead of the 2023 season and started in the vast majority of her appearances with her new team, but she saw a slight decrease in playing time. She averaged 10.5 points, 3.6 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 24.9 minutes per game, all of which were down slightly from the year before. Jefferson was on the move once again ahead of the 2024 season, as she was traded from Phoenix to Connecticut as part of a sign-and-trade deal in February. She joins a Sun backcourt that has incumbent DiJonai Carrington and newcomer Tiffany Mitchell, but Jefferson should have a chance to maintain a fantasy-relevant role. Whether she remains a starter with her new team remains to be seen, but Jefferson has proven to be capable of providing value through her scoring and passing abilities. She carries some risk with her new team but is still worth exploring as a mid-to-late-round option in fantasy drafts.
