Elena Delle Donne officially announced her retirement during the offseason, but Iriafen should provide immediate frontcourt production for the Mystics as a rookie in 2025 after being selected with the No. 4 pick in the draft. Iriafen spent her first three collegiate seasons at Stanford but transferred to USC following a breakout junior year, and she remained dominant with the Trojans. Over the last two seasons, the 22-year-old averaged 18.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 29.0 minutes per game, and she should see ample playing time as a rookie, even if she has to settle for a bench role behind Stefanie Dolson, Aaliyah Edwards and Shakira Austin.
