Morrow was regarded as a potential lottery pick in this year's draft, but she fell to the Sun at No. 7 and will join a frontcourt that lost Alyssa Thomas, DeWanna Bonner and Brionna Jones during the offseason. Morrow will still have some veterans to learn from in Tina Charles and Diamond DeShields, but Morrow should have an opportunity to carve out ample playing time as a rookie. Despite being slightly small for a power forward at 6-foot-1, she led the nation in rebounds per game as a freshman at DePaul in 2021-22 and during her senior season at LSU last year while also averaging 20.5 points per game during her collegiate career. While Morrow could face an adjustment period as she figures out how to utilize her skill set in the WNBA, it wouldn't be surprising to see her earn a fantasy-relevant role as a rookie. ANALYSIS
Morrow was dominant at DePaul over the first two years of her collegiate career, averaging 23.8 points, 13.0 rebounds and 2.7 steals in 32.8 minutes per game. She transferred to LSU ahead of the 2023-24 season and had a slight downturn in production in the SEC, averaging 17.6 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.5 steals in 33.1 minutes per game, but she still led all Division I players in rebounds and double-doubles during the 2024-25 season. The 22-year-old is slightly undersized for a power forward but will join a Connecticut frontcourt that added Tina Charles and Olivia Nelson-Ododa during the offseason, and Morrow has proven to be a versatile threat who can consistently contribute in the rebounding and scoring columns, and she displayed some three-point success in college that could give her even more upside at the WNBA level.
