After being selected by the Sky with the No. 10 pick in this year's draft, Sivka joins a Sky frontcourt that includes Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. Sivka is a 6-foot-4 forward but is a capable perimeter shooter who should be able to provide a spark off the bench, even if she doesn't see much playing time as a rookie. The Sky conversed with the Slovenian during the draft process, but it's not yet clear whether she intends to play a full season in the WNBA in 2025. Sivka was selected by the Sky with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft on Monday, Mitchell Hansen of CanisHoopus.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Sivka is known for her outside jump shot, drilling 39.1 percent of her attempts from downtown during French League and EuroCup play. She's also a capable defender, making her a sound candidate to slot in as a role player at the WNBA level. Sivka will compete with Michaela Onyenwere, Kaela Davis and Elizabeth Williams for a spot in the team's rotation.
