Salter's most notable college production came during his time with Middle Tennesee State University where he caught 21 passes for 297 yards and two scores. Salter also played in the XFL for the Houston Roughnecks last year, so he has had some time in proffesional football which may make it easier for his coaches to trust him to pick up the offense quickly. However, he won't be part of the active roster for the UFL Championship game against the Stallions on Sunday.
