Named starting QB for 2025
The Brahmas announced Friday that Mond will begin the 2025 campaign as the starting quarterback, James Larsen of UFL Newsroom reports.

Mond, a third-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, is set to make his UFL debut after struggling to carve out a role in the NFL. The Texas A&M product made only one appearance in the NFL, and he recorded 19 passing touchdowns and 2,282 passing yards on 188 completions in 10 games during his final collegiate season in 2020. Head coach Wade Phillips said that the 25-year-old's rushing ability was a deciding factor for the starting role, and he recorded 1,269 rushing yards in three seasons with the Aggies.
