On a night where Battlehawks quarterbacks Max Duggan and Brandon Silvers completed just 54.2 percent of their passes combined, Darby served as the team leader in receiving yards while tying with multiple teammates for second in receptions. The Arizona State product was utilized sparsely throughout the 2025 campaign but showed a knack for big plays, averaging 16.6 yards per catch on his 11 receptions. Darby is no stranger to the NFL -- he was drafted in the sixth round in 2021 by the Falcons and also spent time with the 49ers as recently as last summer -- so it's possible he gets another training camp look this preseason.
