Winn completed 22 of 34 passes for 207 yards with one touchdown and one interception while adding three carries for 16 yards and another score in the Showboats' 21-20 loss to the Roughnecks on Saturday. He also lost a fumble returned for a touchdown and completed a two-point conversion pass.

ANALYSIS
Winn put together a second impressive start statistically, but his ball-security issues ultimately proved to be the difference in the game. Winn took a late third-quarter sack near midfield and lost the ball, with Houston's T.J. Franklin scooping it up and returning it for a touchdowns that erased a slim 14-13 deficit for the Roughnecks. Prior to that costly miscue, the Tennessee-Martin product had contributed a two-yard touchdown toss to Jay Jay Wilson and a nine-yard scoring scramble, with both coming in the second quarter. Despite the hiccups Saturday, Winn should remain in the starting role for a Week 7 home matchup against the Battlehawks next Sunday afternoon.
