Al-Shehri didn't have many touches during the first half but made most of the his lone opportunity just after halftime, beating a defender and sending a low show into the far post to draw things level at 1-1 in the 48th minute. After his side scored another goal few minutes later, the forward couldn't do anything noteworthy and was ultimately subbed off in the 78th minute. Al-Shehri will next try to lead Saudi Arabia to another upset during Saturday's clash against Poland.
