Haidara (calf) was forced off at halftime during Saturday's 2-1 victory over Lyon due to a calf injury. Further tests confirmed that the injury is expected to keep him sidelined for several weeks, according to coach Eric Roy. "On the infirmary side, Jordan Amavi has a hamstring injury and Massadio Haïdara also has a muscle injury in the calf. They will be out for a few weeks."
ANALYSIS
Haidara had been the regular starter at left-back since the end of November. His injury will be a significant loss for the team, especially since his natural substitute, Jordan Amavi, is also sidelined with a hamstring injury that will keep him out for several weeks. Youngster Luck Zogbe is expected to step in as the starting left-back for the time being.
