Joins Grasshoppers Zurich
Zvonarek has joined Grasshoppers Zurich on loan from FC Bayern for the 2025/26 season, his parent club announced. "Lovro Zvonarek gained valuable experience in the Bundesliga and the Champions League last season at Sturm Graz. He was able to contribute to defending the Austrian title. Now he will take his next steps in Switzerland and get even more playing time. We will continue to support him closely on his journey," said Christoph Freund, FC Bayern's sporting director.

Zvonarek joined Bayern in the summer of 2022 from Slaven Belupo in his native Croatia. After making 39 appearances for Bayern's reserve team, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists, he signed a contract through 2027 and was loaned to Austrian side Sturm Graz last season. Zvonarek helped Sturm Graz defend their Austrian title with 22 appearances and two goals.
