Choudhury is out for at least the next one to two months due to a dislocated shoulder, according to manager Steve Cooper. "Unfortunately Hamza dislocated his shoulder in training yesterday. It was a very unfortunate innocuous situation so we're still working out the extent of how long he will be out. It's settling down but he certainly will be a little while."

Choudhury is unlikely for the final two matches of the season because of a groin injury, according to manager Brendan Rodgers. "He picked up a groin [tear]. He has been a fantastic player for us this season. He's probably trained more than anyone else. You won't have seen too much of him in the games but he's been a great support for the players. He's had a scan on it and he has slight tear there."
