Doumbia's loan was ended early, Charlotte announced Tuesday.

Doumbia has been saddled with injuries since joining Charlotte on loan, and now his loan has been ended. He returns to Standard Liege still struggling with a hamstring issue. Doumbia made 11 appearances (eight starts) during his time with Charlotte.
