Montassar Talbi Injury: Heading out for AFCON

Talbi has been called up by Tunisia for the AFCON starting Dec. 21 and ending Jan. 18.

Talbi was called by Tunisia for the AFCON and will miss all the games until at least the clash against Monaco on Jan. 16. The center-back has been an undisputed starter in the backline for the Merlus, playing every possible minutes this season, therefore his absence will have an impact on the starting squad, with Igor Silva as the main option to replace him while he is sidelined.
