Nketiah suffered a hamstring injury in the first half of Wednesday's Carabao Cup victory against Liverpool and is set to spend some time on the sidelines again, coach Oliver Glasner confirmed in a press conference, according to the News Shopper. "But unfortunately, we had to bring him on at half time because Eddie Nketiah injured his hamstring again. Eddie's injury is really tough, especially for him. It's the next one after he missed the whole of pre-season and the start of the season. Hopefully, it is not too serious."

Nketiah suffered a new hamstring injury in the first half of Wednesday's Carabao Cup clash against the Reds and will likely spend some time on the sidelines again to recover. The striker has been struggling to keep himself fit and will have to wait to feature more minutes for Palace. He came off the bench in his last five appearances in the Premier League, so his absence will not impact the starting XI.
