Cristian Espinoza News: Handed for suspension

Espinoza recorded two shots (zero on goal), seven crosses (three accurate) and five corners in Saturday's 2-1 win versus Houston Dynamo. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 56th minute.

Espinoza will be serving his first suspension of the season after recording his fifth yellow card in 10 appearances. He's been in a bit of a drought of late, failing to land on the scoresheet since June 29, recording 15 shots (six on target) with 29 chances created in the last eight games. His absence can see Josef Martinez made a return to the starting XI for San Jose vs Austin FC.
