Christian Benteke News: Converts PK in loss

Benteke scored a penalty goal, had five shots (three on target), created one chance and was shown a yellow card during Saturday's 4-2 loss against Austin.

Benteke had his best performance since his return from the thigh injury that left him out for more than a month. The striker could only score from the penalty spot deep into second half's stoppage time but was a big threat during the entire contest, pacing his team in shots attempted. With goals in his last two games, Benteke will hope to get back to the form displayed at the start of the season, which would definitely help his team finishing the year in a not so embarrassing position.
