Verbruggen had two saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Liverpool.

Verbruggen faced four shots Saturday and was only able to stop a pair of them. On a day where the team in front of him offered nothing in terms of goal support it's hard to put the blame on Verbruggen. He would have wanted the first goal back, but the second was an unstoppable header from close range that Verbruggen had no hope of getting to.
