Armando Broja Injury: Close to return

Broja (undisclosed) is close to making his return, coach Scott Parker said in a press conference, according to Burnley Express. "He's not far, not far at all. He's just probably a little bit behind. Like I said, I don't want to risk anything here or take a massive, massive risk with Armando. He just needs a bit more work. Hopefully we can start integrating him, maybe on Tuesday [against Derby County in the Carabao Cup] and we can start seeing him then."

Broja is a little bit behind his teammates fitness wise but could make his return soon, likely aiming Tuesday's Carabao Cup game against Derby County to get some minutes to gradually build his competitive fitness. When fully fit, the Albanian striker will be able to compete for a starting role in the frontline of the Clarets.
