Maitland-Niles assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Saturday's 3-0 win against Metz.

Maitland-Niles served as the team's deep-lying creator, spraying passes from midfield with over 90 percent pass completion. He provided the assist for Lyon's second goal in the 30th minute with a brilliant ball to Tolisso. Maitland-Niles helped Lyon maintain majority of possession and also contributed defensively with six tackles, one clearance and one block.
