Monday, 3:00 p.m: Sunderland v. Everton

Swansea City: Gylfi Sigurdsson
Chelsea: Willian, Eden Hazard
Sunderland: Adnan Januzaj
Everton: Kevin Mirallas

PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Martin Stekelenburg, EVE at SUN: Everton are coming off back-to-back clean sheets in the league and will face a Sunderland team that has managed just four goals in four games. He comes at a slightly cheaper price on DraftKings than Thibaut Courtois, who will face a Swansea City side with a bit more attacking prowess than Sunderland.

DEFENDER

Mason Holgate, EVE at SUN: Holgate has started three straight matches for Everton, helping secure Everton's first Premier League clean sheet last time out. He's drawn six fouls in three games and benefits from having a huge target for crosses in Romelu Lukaku. Seamus Coleman's impending return could move Holgate out of the starting lineup, but if he's in it, he's certainly worth a look as a value play.

Kyle Naughton, SWA v. CHE: Coming into Sunday's match, Naughton is averaging three interceptions per game and offers good value for a player who ranks in the top 10 in the Premiership in shots, tackles, passes and crosses for a defender.

Patrick van Aanholt, SUN v. EVE: As the second-most expensive defender, one might wonder why van Aanholt is in included here, but his ability to gain stats in all categories puts him firmly in play. He found

Patrick van Aanholt, SUN v. EVE: As the second-most expensive defender, one might wonder why van Aanholt is in included here, but his ability to gain stats in all categories puts him firmly in play. He found the score sheet once already this season and should pick up a good number of interceptions and tackles.

MIDFIELDER

Eden Hazard, CHE at SWA: Hazard has been in great form to start the season, scoring two goals on 14 shots. This version of Hazard looks more like the 2014/15 version that saw him win the Premier League's Player of the Year award. His high price is justified by his ability to create for a much improved Chelsea side.

Adnan Januzaj, SUN v. EVE: Januzaj's positive relationship with David Moyes almost guarantees he continues to start, and he has been taking corners recently. Always deceptive, Januzaj has been able to draw seven fouls in just over 200 minutes, while also averaging six crosses per game. If one can find the shifty Jermain Defoe, he could have a huge fantasy output.

Kevin Mirallas, EVE at SUN:Idrissa Gueye's addition to the team, as well as Gareth Barry's defensive style allows Everton's attacking midfielders to get loose more so than last season. Mirallas' main stats consist of crosses and shots, which are what you look for when playing on DraftKings. Sunderland's goalkeeping situation is a major question as well, with Vito Mannone out for a number of months, and Jordan Pickford recovering from a thigh strain.

FORWARD

Romelu Lukaku, EVE at SUN: Lukaku is coming off a brace against Cyprus during the international break and should be just as dangerous against a Sunderland side that is yet to keep a clean sheet in the league. The new additions of Yannick Bolasie and (to a lesser extent) Enner Valencia should help the supply lines to Lukaku as well.

Yannick Bolasie, EVE at SUN: As one of Everton's main signings over the transfer period, Bolasie's expectations this season have only risen. With a mid-tier price on DraftKings, Bolasie's prospects are directly linked to Lukaku's ability to find the back of the net. He has yet to totally impress in his first three league games, but faces a Sunderland team that could be playing on the back foot for the majority of the match.

Modou Barrow, SWA v. EVE: One of the cheaper options in the slate is Barrow, whose value stems from his ability to whip crosses in, averaging six per game. Swansea City's attacking options have been boosted by the likes of Diego Llorente and Borja Baston, and if any of Barrow's crosses can find his strike options, he will more than justify his price.
