Power wrote another chapter in the storied history of Team Penske on Saturday during NTT P1 Award qualifying for the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline, earning the team's 700th pole across all racing series while leading a front-row lockout by the NTT IndyCar Series powerhouse.

Power picked up his first pole since July 2023 with a full-send lap at the Gateway oval. The Penske Racing veteran registered a two-lap average of 189.329 and comfortably beat out Scott McLaughlin to claim pole position for the Bommarito Automotive Group 500. It was Power's fifth-career pole at WWTR and his 71st-career pole position. He'll challenge for the win Sunday night at Gateway.
