Ty Majeski

ThorSport Racing
2025 Fantasy Outlook
After a three-win and 14 Top-10 finish campaign, Majeski would walk away with both the win and the championship trophy in the final race last season at Phoenix. The ThorSport Racing driver would carry his No. 98 Ford team to the Craftsman Truck Series title and upset rival Corey Heim in the process. Majeski returns to this race team in 2025 and will look to make it a successful championship defense and second title in the upcoming season. Crew chief Joe Shear Jr. will bring his near 400-starts of experience and 30-career victories to the table. Shear and Majeski have worked together for three seasons now and have some very good chemistry. The 30-year-old driver will be among the elite in this racing series. Read Past Outlooks
Tops Rockingham Practice
Craftsman Truck Series
April 18, 2025
Majeski was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the Black's Tire 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Rockingham Speedway on Friday. He turned a fast lap of 148.662 mph.
ANALYSIS
The driver of the No. 98 Ford would have his most impressive practice of the young season with some great laps at the historic Rockingham Speedway. Majeski would comfortably beat out Layne Riggs for the fastest laps of the 1-mile oval. The ThorSport Racing driver looks like a Top-5 threat for Friday night's Black's Tire 200.

Majeski posted his second-straight Top-10 points campaign in 2023. The ThorSport Racing veteran nabbed one victory and 14 Top-10 finishes en route to a respectable eighth-place finish in the points. However, Majeski would have liked to achieve more and contended more vigorously for the championship last season. We believe he'll do that in 2024. Majeski returns to the No. 98 Ford and crew chief, Joe Shear Jr., as well as the rest of the ThorSport team returning. The duo has spent the last two seasons together building chemistry and momentum, and this could be the year when they hit it big. With now 66 starts of experience under his belt, Majeski seems to be coming of age.
After a ground-breaking season with ThorSport in 2022, Majeski returns to the No. 66 team and crew chief Joe Shear Jr. The duo posted two victories and 15 Top-10 finishes last season to finish fourth in the final standings. It was a breakout season for Majeski at this point in his NASCAR career. ThorSport will be switching from Toyota to Ford in the upcoming campaign, but that should be of little concern. This team has been not shy about swapping out manufacturers every few seasons, so they know the drill. They've been a long-time Ford team in the past and should be quite all right with the move. Majeski has shown he can win, now he needs to show he can win a championship.
No 2022 plans have been announced, but Majeski shared the No. 66 Toyota of ThorSport Racing with Paul Menard last season. Majeski would earn two Top-10 finishes in just four starts, and race competitively. This team may return again in a part-time capacity in the upcoming season.
Raced in 15 events for Niece Motorsports last season, earning three Top 10's along the way. Majeski was replaced by Brett Moffitt in the No. 45 truck, so he will not be back in 2021. His plans for the upcoming season have not been announced so Majeski enters the campaign a free agent driver.
Youngster Majeski takes over the truck that veteran, Ross Chastain, raced to so much success last season. Chastain racked up three victories and 19 Top-10 finishes with this race team. The potential and bar is set very high. Unfortunately, Majeski doesn't carry the same level of experience as Chastain. The 25-year-old driver has just 16-combined starts over the last three seasons in the Xfinity and Truck Series. His lone truck start came with Niece Motorsports last year and was a respectable 11th-place finish at Phoenix in the team's No. 44 entry. This team, and crew chief Phil Gould will get the most out of this young driver in 2020, but don't expect anything near the numbers Chastain posted in this same truck last season.
Grabbed two Top-10 finishes in 12 starts with Roush Fenway Racing's No. 60 team last season in the Xfinity Series. With the closure of Roush's Xfinity Series operations, Majeski is a free agent driver in 2019.
