Sato was the fastest driver in Miller Lite Carb Day practice Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, leading the final session before the 107th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, IndyCar.com reports.

Sato lived up to his "no attack, no chance" motto on "Fast Friday" at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, turning the fastest Indianapolis 500 practice lap since 1996 on the eve of the start of qualifying, IndyCar.com reports.

Sato was fastest on day 2 of Indianapolis 500 practice at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Wednesday. He turned a fast lap of 229.439 mph.

Sato continued his domination of the speed chart this week at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, completing a sweep of all three practices by setting the pace once again in tricky conditions on Fast Friday for the 106th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, IndyCar.com reports.
