The 2025 IndyCar Series grid is complete. Dale Coyne Racing, which held the last of 27 seats to fill, has done as expected and signed five-year veteran VeeKay to drive the No. 18 Honda and lead new teammate Jacob Abel, who will drive the No. 51 Honda during his rookie season, RACER reports.
ANALYSIS
Veekay was the final piece to fall into place for the 2025 IndyCar grid. Dale Coyne has signed him to drive their No. 18 Honda in the upcoming season and to mentor their rookie driver, Abel. "He's hungry, he's got unfinished business," Coyne told RACER. "We are the same, and I think it'll work out very well. The test that we did with him at Indy in the fall was really an eye-opener for all of us."
