New Zealander Lawson will replace Daniel Ricciardo at RB alongside Yuki Tsunoda for the remainder of the season, Formula1.com reports.

ANALYSIS
With the release of Ricciardo, Team RB will now turn to young driver Lawson for the remainder of the 2024 campaign. He will be promoted from his reserve role and into the seat of one of the team's two Honda's for the final six races of the season. Lawson made five starts with this team in 2023, capturing points on one occasion and registering a 12.2 average finish across those five starts.
