Okay after scary crash
Newgarden completed 129 laps before suffering an accident in the Bommarito Auto Group 500 IndyCar race on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Newgarden was in line for a strong weekend as he qualified fifth and led 24 laps. However, disaster struck on Lap 129, when he collided with Louis Foster, who lost control of his car, and drifted down the track. Newgarden's Penske car flipped, lost significant portions of its body and skidded a significant distance down the track, but he thankfully walked away okay.
