Leads Opening Milwaukee Practice
Two-time series champion Newgarden led the opening practice for the Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250 with a top lap of 161.066 mph in the No. 2 Snap-on Team Penske Chevrolet, IndyCar.com reports.

It has been a tough season for Newgarden and he is still seeking his first win of the 2025 season. There have been signs in recent weeks that the Penske Racing star is turning things around late in this season. Newgarden edged Alex Palou to lead this first session at the one-mile Milwaukee oval.
