Tops Second Practice at Barber

The time sheets perhaps didn't tell the entire story Saturday in the pre-qualifying practice for the Children's of Alabama Indy Grand Prix powered by AmFirst at Barber Motorsports Park. Malukas was a surprise leader, pacing the field, IndyCar.com reports.

ANALYSIS
This second practice at the Alabama road course started in partial wet conditions. As the dry line better developed lap times would drop. Malukas would get in a lap of 1:08.1661 to top the scoring pylon before late-practice rain would return and bring about several off-track excursions. The A.J. Foyt Racing driver is still seeking his first Top 10 of the season and could very well get it Sunday at Barber Motorsports Park.
