Palou finished 11th in the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway on Sunday to clinch the 2024 NTT IndyCar Series Championship.

Palou had to climb from the back of the field on Sunday, but the job was made easier when his closest title contender, Will Power, had issues early in the race. Palou and his team were able to just put together a smart drive and wrap up his third championship in four years without too much stress. Palou was consistently at the front this season totaling 13 top-5 finishes, three more than the next closest driver. Palou has just been a beast since moving over to Chip Ganassi Racing winning 11 times in four years with three titles. As long as CGR is able to keep Palou in IndyCar, he is going to continue to be the title favorite for years to come.
