The Palou Show continued Friday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, as the dominant leader of the NTT IndyCar Series standings used deft tire strategy and a fast car to run away with the NTT P1 Award for the Sonsio Grand Prix.

ANALYSIS
Palou and his team were able to get through Q1 without using that soft set of tires and that would end up being the difference. Once the Chip Ganassi Racing star made it to the Fast 6 he would bolt on those unused soft tires and motor to the pole position with a lap of 1:09.3417 of the Indy GP circuit. He would beat Graham Rahal by fourth-tenths to capture his eighth-career pole position. Palou will be tough to beat in Saturday's Sonsio Grand Prix.
