Looks to bounce back against Vieira
MiddleweightUFC
June 4, 2025
Gore will take on Rodolfo Vieira in a middleweight matchup at UFC Vegas 108 on August 2, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Gore snapped a two-fight winning streak with a lopsided defeat to Marco Tulio in August, getting out-landed 127-to-17 in significant strikes before finally succumbing to the finish in Round 2. Viera also had a two-fight winning streak of his own snapped last February with a much closer decision loss to Andre Petroski. The striking and wrestling numbers, both offensively and defensively, lie in favor of Vieira here, though Gore will enter with a two-inch reach advantage. Both men stand at 6-0.

Obliterated by Marco Tulio
MiddleweightUFC
April 12, 2025
Gore lost to Marco Tulio via TKO (punches) at 3:16 of Round 2 at UFC 314 on Saturday in Miami.
ANALYSIS
Gore's skills are clearly limited, but he's stupidly tough, and that was on display once again here. He managed to last more than eight minutes against the powerful Tulio despite the fact he spent nearly the entire time serving as a punching bag for his opponent. Gore ate literally dozens and dozens of shots that would have put away any mere mortal and continued to push forward. Referee Marc Goddard had finally seen enough late in Round 2. Gore has fought just five times since his February 2022 debut, going 2-3 in his first five bouts with the company.

February 21, 2025
Gore will face off against Marco Tulio at UFC 314 on Apr. 12, Nolan King of USA Today reports.
ANALYSIS
Gore will match up against Marco Tulio in Miami this April after most recently defeating Antonio Trocoli at UFC Fight Night 247. The 30-year-old American is 2-2 during his time with the UFC.
Wins in first fight since 2022
MiddleweightUFC
November 9, 2024
Gore defeated Antonio Trocoli via submission (guillotine choke) at 1:23 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Clearly not getting paid by the hour, Gore made quick work of Trocoli in his first fight since October 2022. The former pushed former in an attempt to grab a single-leg takedown and the latter responded by clamping on the guillotine choke which closed the show. Gore has now won back-to-back fights via submission, but his inactivity has been a major concern. He has just seven professional bouts under his belt despite debuting way back in March 2018. Gore is never going to make any headway at this level unless he steps into the octagon more frequently.
Trocoli up next
MiddleweightUFC
August 20, 2024
Gore (shoulder) is scheduled to compete against Antonio Trocoli in a middleweight fight at UFC Vegas 100 on Nov. 9, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Gore sat out for a little more than half a year because of a shoulder injury. But now that the middleweight is healthy, he will look for his first UFC win since 2022 by defeating Tricoli, who is trying to finally find some success in the promotion after multiple stints.
Withdraws from Dobson fight
MiddleweightUFC
February 7, 2024
Gore will not fight AJ Dobson at UFC 298 due to a shoulder injury, per Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com.
ANALYSIS
Gore's shoulder injury includes a labral tear, a paralabral cyst and a likely Grade 2 AC joint separation. It was unlikely he would recover from the multiple injuries in under two weeks, which resulted in his withdrawal from fighting at UFC 298 on Feb. 17.
