Out for UFC 319
Ruziboev will not fight Bryan Battle at UFC 319 on Saturday, according to Aaron Bronsteter of Sportsnet.
ANALYSIS
Battle missed weight for UFC 319, and it has been decided that because of the miss, both fighters will not compete at the event. Ruziboev will have to wait for another chance at going 5-1.

Opponent overweight for fight
Ruziboev is scheduled to compete against an overweight Bryan Battle at UFC 319 on Saturday, according to Jose Youngs of MMA Fighting.
ANALYSIS
Ruziboev will log 30 percent of Battle's purse, regardless of how the fight turns out. The former, coming off a decision win over Dustin Stoltzfus, will look to go 5-1 across his last six by defeating Battle.

Next fight booked
Ruziboev will face off against Bryan Battle at UFC 319 on Aug. 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Ruziboev, who most recently took down Dustin Stoltzfus at UFC Fight Night 256, will look to stay on track against Bryan Battle in August. The 31-year-old fighter hailing out of Uzbekistan is 4-1 during his time with the UFC.

Improves to 4-1 in past five fights
Ruziboev defeated Dustin Stoltzfus via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
This was Ruziboev's fourth UFC victory, but it was the first that he didn't win via knockout and the first in which he actually had to work for an extended period of time. He had to fight off a very deep guillotine choke from Stoltzfus in Round 1 which easily could have ended the fight. Ruziboev's power ended up being the difference in the end, however. The fact he was able to take a unanimous decision despite allowing a pair of takedowns and 5:11 worth of control time says something. Ruziboev has a ridiculous number of professional fights under his belt despite the fact he'll be just 32 years of age in November. The company should continue to push him quickly in hopes of seeing what exactly they have here.

Taking on Stoltzfus
Ruziboev will take on Dustin Stoltzfus in a middleweight bout at UFC Vegas 106 on May 17, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Ruziboev will look to make it two straight victories. In his last bout, he disposed of Eric McConico via right hook in the second round. That pushed his UFC record to 3-1, a very solid start within the promotion. His opponent, meanwhile, desperately needs a win, as Stoltzfus sits at 3-5 in the promotion despite winning his last bout.

Gets right back in win column
Ruziboev defeated Eric McConico via TKO (punches) at 0:33 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Seattle.
ANALYSIS
When we last saw Ruziboev last May, he was dropping a unanimous decision to Joaquin Buckley, which doesn't seem like a very big deal these days. He got the chance to rebound here against the debuting McConico and took full advantage. Neither man did much of anything in Round 1, but Ruziboev managed to pick up two knockdowns and the stoppage in the 33 seconds which Round 2 lasted. Ruziboev is closing in on 50 professional fights despite the fact he turned just 31 years of age last November. He improves to 3-1 with the UFC.
