Pico up next
Evloev is scheduled to compete against fellow featherweight Aaron Pico at UFC Abu Dhabi on July 26, per the promotion's president Dana White.
ANALYSIS
Evloev was a fringe contender to be Alexander Volkanovski's next challenger for the UFC Featherweight Championship. Instead, the former will have a chance at getting one step closer to gold. Evloev's next opponent has experience in PFL and Bellator, but not yet in the UFC.

Remains perfect in UFC
Evloev defeated Aljamain Sterling via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC 310 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Evloev remains undefeated as a pro, and boy did he have to work for it. Over the course of the 15 minute bout, the two men combined for 10 takedowns (four for Evloev) and 12:25 worth of control time. They also combined for a grand total of 20 significant strikes. To say this was a grappling match would be a massive understatement. Evloev and Sterling fought to identical terms, but the former was able to reverse position midway through Round 3 and finish in dominating fashion. Evloev's striking remains a work in progress, but he's an elite grappler with excellent cardio. He also doesn't make many mistakes inside the Octagon. The lone complaint is that all nine of his UFC wins have gone the distance.

Won't fight at UFC 307
Evloev won't take part in UFC 307 after he wasn't able to find a new opponent following the withdrawal of Aljamain Sterling (elbow), Alexander Behunin of MMA Mania reports.
ANALYSIS
Evloev has returned to Russia because he was left without an opponent for UFC 307, and he will no longer be part of the promotion's return to Salt Lake City. Evloev has been out of action since his fight with Arnold Allen at UFC 297 in January earlier this year, and the 30-year-old is 18-0 as a pro while boasting an 8-0 mark at the UFC level.

Needs new opponent for UFC 307
Evloev will no longer fight Aljamain Sterling at UFC 307 on Oct. 5, as the latter injured his elbow during training, Damon Martin of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Sterling is reportedly hoping this fight can just be pushed back rather than cancelled all together. Still, He won't be healthy in time to step into the Octagon against Evloev, who will now need to find a new opponent on short notice.
