Magny was on top of him firing off countless unanswered blows. Referee Kevin MacDonald gave Malott more than enough time to try and get things back on track, but it clearly wasn't happening. Everything that happened in the first 13 minutes-plus is irrelevant given how this fight ended. Viewed by many as Canada's best hope to become a future UFC champion, the 32-year-old Malott is going to have a very hard time overcoming this setback.
