Santos is scheduled to compete against Tainara Lisboa in a bantamweight fight at UFC Vegas 106 on May 17, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Santos will look to get back to winning ways after getting decisively beaten by Casey O'Neill at UFC 305. Before the O'Neill loss, Santos was perfect in the UFC and will look to prove that pay-per-view defeat was a one-off that will not continue in future bouts.

No-shows UFC 305 defeat
BantamweightUFC
August 17, 2024
Santos lost to Casey O'Neill via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 26-30) at UFC 305 on Saturday in Perth, Australia.
ANALYSIS
Fighting for the second time in almost exactly a month, Santos was dominated from start to finish. She sat back the entire fight and allowed O'Neill to pick her apart on the feet. While Casey strung together combinations, Luana was one and done. All told, Santos found herself on the short end of a 113-46 count in terms of total strikes landed. She wasn't competitive. The Brazilian began her UFC run with three straight victories, but O'Neill was by far her toughest test to date, and Santos showed nothing. The lone good news is that at 24 years of age, she has plenty of time to improve.
Remains perfect in UFC

Santos defeated Mariya Agapova via submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:27 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Denver.
ANALYSIS
Santos looked strong in her last fight, a unanimous decision win over Stephanie Egger last December, but that performance comes with an asterisk because she missed weight. She had no issues with the scale this time around and dominated Agapova for as long as the brief bout lasted. Santos landed a few heavy shots early on before connecting with a nice judo throw. She then threatened with an arm-triangle before transitioning to a rear-naked choke which put Agapova away for good. Still just 24 years of age, Santos is now a perfect 3-0 in the UFC. She deserves a bit better opponent her next time out.
Gets new fight

March 25, 2024
Santos is slated to take on Mariya Agapova at a UFC event on July 13, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Santos is riding a two-fight winning streak since debuting with the company, including wins over Jiliana Miller via TKO and Stephanie Egger via unanimous decision. However, her most recent bout would have looked better had she not missed weight by three pounds the day prior. Her next opponent, Agapova, is 2-3 in the company and looking to bounce back from a two-fight losing streak.
Takes decision after weight miss
BantamweightUFC
December 9, 2023
Santos defeated Stephanie Egger via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's a win that would have looked a whole lot better had Santos not missed weight by three pounds Friday morning. Neither woman landed much in terms of damaging strikes, with Santos' main claim to victory being the fact she racked up a whopping 7:44 worth of control time. Most of that was simply her pinning Egger up along the cage, which drained the clock and eliminated her opponent's ability to mount a comeback. The main concern for Santos at this point is getting her weight cut under control. Three pounds is a big miss. She needs to get that cleaned up before her next bout.
Booked for UFC Vegas 83
BantamweightUFC
November 17, 2023
Santos will fight Stephanie Egger at UFC Vegas 83 on Dec. 9, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
After making quick work of Juliana Miller in her UFC debut, Santos will now face a more-experienced opponent. Egger has lost two of her last three fights, so momentum will be on Santos' side in December.
