Nunes is scheduled to compete against Loma Lookboonmee in a strawweight fight at UFC Vegas 105 on April 5, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Nunes was scheduled to fight Molly McCann on March 22, but the former's visa issues resulted in a bout cancellation. It did not take long for Nunes to get the visa problems resolved, as less than a week after the McCann-fight withdrawal, she has a new opponent scheduled.

Nunes (elbow) is scheduled to compete against Molly McCann in a strawweight fight at UFC London on March 22, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
On July 15, 2023, Nunes fought Viktoriia Dudakova in a losing effort. It was a quick loss, only because Nunes appeared to dislocate her left elbow while defending a takedown attempt. It will have been over a year and a half since Nunes fought in a UFC ring.
Injury leads to quick defeat
StrawweightUFC
July 15, 2023
Nunes lost to Viktoriia Dudakova via TKO (elbow injury) at 0:34 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 49 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
In search of her first UFC victory in her fourth UFC bout, Nunes appeared to dislocate her left elbow while attempting to defend an early Dudakova takedown attempt. The fight was over instantly, with Nunes screaming in pain and referee Chris Tognoni stepping in. Fighters that begin their time with the company with four straight defeats rarely get a fifth opportunity, but this is not a normal set of circumstances. It remains to be seen if we see Nunes again inside the Octagon.

Nunes is scheduled to fight Viktoriia Dudakova in a strawweight bout at UFC Vegas 77 on July 15, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
This is expected to be Nunes' fourth attempt at logging a UFC win. She previously lost against Ariane Carnelossi (submission), Sam Hughes (decision) and Yazmin Jauregui (TKO). Meanwhile, Dudakova is making her UFC debut after winning a contract through Dana White's Contender Series. She has an undefeated record across six fights.
Still searching for first UFC win

December 3, 2022
Nunes lost to Yazmin Jauregui via TKO (punches) at 4:06 of Round 2 at UFC on ESPN 42 on Saturday in Orlando.
ANALYSIS
This was a tough draw for Nunes in a must-win situation. Entering as a +290 underdog and almost certainly in need of a victory to extend her time with the company, Nunes scored a massive knockdown early in the fight, but the good times ended there. She became increasingly less effective as the bout progressed and absorbed far too much punishment from Jauregui, particularly in the second round. The 30-year-old Brazilian has lost three in a row since making her UFC debut back in October 2021, and it seems highly unlikely the company will be granting her a fourth opportunity.
