Voievodkin has been suspended for two years after testing positive for Meldonium, according to Nolan King of MMAJunkie.com.
ANALYSIS
According to the UFC anti-doping program Combat Sports Anti-Doping, Meldonium is a substance prohibited at all times, and Voievodkin's Oct. 17 sample included the banned substance. Voievodkin was suspended on Nov. 10, meaning his two-year suspension will end on that date but in 2026.

Massive upset earns contract

Voievodkin defeated Bailey Schoenfelder via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:13 of Round 1 at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. After the show, he was one of five fighters to be awarded an official UFC contract.
ANALYSIS
Voievodkin pulls one of the biggest upsets in the history of the Contender Series, as he was listed anywhere from (+420) to (+600), depending on your sportsbook of choice. While this officially goes down in the records as a submission, it was a huge overhand right-left hook combination that sent Schoenfelder to the canvas and initiated the fight-ending sequence. At just 24 years old, Voievodkin will be the latest addition to the company's heavyweight roster -- a division with immediate room for advancement.
