New challenger steps in
Lipski agreed to fight Jasmine Jasudavicius in a flyweight matchup at UFC Edmonton on November 2, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Lipski had her three-fight winning streak snapped after being defeated by Karine Silva via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 55 in Las Vegas. Ariane has won half of her last eight bouts and will look to get back on the winning column, as she looks to overcome Jasmine Jasudavicius, who is coming off back-to-back victories.

Winning streak snapped at three
Lipski lost to Karine Silva via unanimous decision (27-30, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC on ESPN 55 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Lipski's run of three-straight upset victories has come to an end. Massively struggling with the upper-body strength of Silva, Lipski was muscled to the ground on five separate occasions, resulting in 7:32 worth of control time for her opponent. Lipski did a halfway decent job of defending once she hit the mat, but that limited her ability to get anything going on the feet and torpedoed her chance of a winning a decision. Still just 30 years of age, Lipski is just 4-4 in her past eight fights despite her recent strong run. She's nothing more than roster depth at this stage of her career.

Fighting Karine Silva
Lipski agreed to fight Karine Silva in a flyweight bout at UFC's April 27 event, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Lipski is riding a three-fight win streak -- all as a betting underdog -- and will now face an up-and-comer. Silva came up through Dana White Contender Series in 2021 and has three submission victories in Round 1 in each of her first three fights.

Third straight upset win
Lipski defeated Casey O'Neill via submission (armbar) at 1:18 of Round 2 at UFC 296 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's a third straight win for Lipski and the third straight fight in which she found herself the betting underdog. This was a far more impressive performance than her decision victories over Melissa Gatto and JJ Aldrich. Lipski was more than content to slug it out with O'Neill given her clear speed advantage on the feet. Although it goes in the books as a submission win, the truth of the matter is that the damage generated by Lipski in the stand-up forced her opponent to the mat, creating the opportunity to clamp on the arm bar which closed the show. The finish would go on to earn her a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, one of three awarded on the evening.

Fighting O'Neill at UFC 296
Lipski will take on Casey O'Neill at UFC 296 on Dec. 16, AgFight reports.
ANALYSIS
Lipski has shown she demands more respect after taking victories over JJ Aldrich in March and Melissa Gatto in July as an underdog. O'Neill has dealt with injuries over the last year, but has only lost one fight as a professional. Lipski is 3-3 over her last six bouts.
