Parekh will actually be making his professional hockey debut, having joined the Flames straight out of the OHL. With the Saginaw Spirit, the 2024 ninth-overall pick tallied 33 goals and 74 helpers in 61 regular-season games this year before adding another nine points in five postseason contests. Looking ahead to 2025-26, Parekh should have a shot at earning a spot on the Opening Night roster, but he is far from a lock and could spend some time in the minors next year.
